If this is the peer review of your dendro paper, no surprise. Since folk very committed to dendroclimatology are the natural reviewers, and their self-documented behavior has not been the best, you can expect a rough time. If it has not already occurred to you, I would consult with Steve McIntyre when he returns from his world travels. He documents many of his interactions with the paleoclimatolgy community on his blog – http://climateaudit.org/.

It was. It has been a rough time indeed, and it’s not over yet I’m afraid.
Just found your 2011 AGU poster. What was the reaction?
I couldn’t go to the meeting. It was placed on the meeting’s “ePosters” site but that gets very little attention. So basically, nobody knows about it.
